1. NYLON
This is
the best fibre on the world market. 90% of our stock is NYLON.
It lasts
2 to 3 times longer than any other fibre and will sweep as
well as any other fibre. Although it is slightly more expensive
than the other fibres, when you compare the longer life you
get from this fibre it soon becomes apparent that in the long
run it is a cheaper fibre to buy.

3.
NATURAL FIBRE & WIRE
This
material is used in very dusty areas. Places like flourmills,
bagging plants and general areas where dust is of paramount
proportions. This broom does not last long at all. Expect
about 50 to 100 hours of life out of this broom.

2.
POLY & WIRE
This
broom is ideal for the likes of lead and steel plants. The
poly & wire mixture is ideal for picking up pieces of steel,
metal off cuts and generally very heavy rubbish. Being a mixture
of poly & wire (steel) it is a very abrasive brush that is
made for tough environments.
The poly
will sweep the dust and debris easily because of its stiff
plastic fibre and the wire will reinforce the poly so that
the bristle doesn’t bend as it hits loads of debris. Its wear
is fair to good and ideal for heavy to tough environments.
It should last about 150 hours.

4.
POLYPROPYLENE
More commonly
known as POLY. This is a fair to average fibre that will generally
last 60 to 100 operating hours on a rider sweeper. It is an
extract of plastic therefore it burns quickly under friction
exposing the reason for short to medium life. Poly bristle
can come in stiff or medium fibre.

1. POLY
These
are a cheap brush that generally only last 60 to 100 operating
hours. It is made from plastic that burns quickly under load
hence the poor life. The other problem with Poly is that it
doesn’t scrub very hard at all and on an oily floor you may
need to scrub over areas 3 to 4 times to remove embedded grime.
3.
NYLON
This
is a soft fibre that is used on floors that are clean to start
with and the scrubber is used to polish or put a shine on
a floor. Typically, this brush is used on coated floors or
really clean and delicate floors that they want to protect
against damage or abrasion. A hospital or pharmaceutical company
would use this type of brush.
5.
PAD DRIVER
This
is a brush that sticks a pad to it. In other words, you stick
a polishing pad to it and then the scrubber is used as a polisher.
Most hospitals and any shopping centers that want to buff
or clean vinyl or high gloss floors use this pad driver. If
there is a machine out there with pad holders what tends to
happen is that the cleaners keep using the pad driver until
the whole pad wears out and ruins the pad driver. This is
common so be sure to inform your customer that you sell the
pad drivers.

HELPFUL
NOTE
|
| To
get the maximum life out of a brush it must be used in
the restricted down position and not in float mode. To
get the brush to achieve its optimum performance it must
be set at a 2-inch brush pattern. Having strapping, string
and wire wrapped around the brush substantially reduces
the life of the broom. |

2.
ABRASIVE BRISTLE
This is the most common form of bristle used on the industrial
floors of Australia. This fibre is a Nylon that is coated
with grit. More commonly known as TYNEX, it is a very coarse
fibre that removes embedded grime quickly and easily. It will
outlast a poly brush 2 to 3 times and result in less scrubbing
time, which ultimately saves money. This fibre is sold to
98% of people who have a concrete floor and want it cleaned.
It is available for both rider and walk behind machines.
4.
PADS
We also sell pads in boxes of 5. They are available in all
colours.

6.
SUPERGRIT Bristle
The longest lasting rider scrubber bristle available on the
world market. It is heavy duty in nature and designed to be
used on heavily soiled floor surfaces. It is twice the density
and hardness of TYNEX material.
Designed
and used exclusively on American
Lincoln Models Smart
2000, 7750 and
7760 sweeper/scrubber.
This bristle will last up to 500 operating hours which is
2 to 3 times longer than any other material.
NOTE:
Available only on American
Lincoln rider scrubbers.
